Well this month it's Howlin' Wolf's anniversary of birth, so we've thought to dedicate him our Epic Songs for Monday episode.

Howlin' Wolf was born on June 10, 1910. He was one of the best Chicago blues artists. He learnt the lesson from Tampa Red, Mississippi SheiksBlind Lemon Jefferson, Ma Rainey, Leroy Carr and took the blues to new levels. Wolf also inspired so many musicians and groups like Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and The Doors.

Let's hear this fantastic song, now, the epic Killing Floor!

"I should have quit you, a long time ago

I should have quit you, babe, long time ago
I should have quit you, and went on to Mexico
If I had-a followed my first mind
If I had-a followed my first mind
I'd been gone, since my second time
I shoulda went on, when my friend come from Mexico at me
I shoulda went on, when my friend come from Mexico at me
But no, I was foolin' with ya, baby, I let ya put me on the killin' floor
Lord knows, I shoulda been gone
Lord knows, I shoulda been gone
And I wouldn't have been here, down on the killin' floor
Yeah.."
