Ready for a new column for Wednesday?
Today we start "Famous Blues Covers"!
 We'll have a series of episodes in which we talk about great blues or blues related songs that became more famous after an inspired cover version.
Let's begin with B.B. King, "The Thrill Is Gone"!
Published as a single in December 1969, it became a huge hit.


The Thrill is gone was written by Roy Hawkins and Rick Darnell. It was originally published as a single by Roy Hawkins in 1951.
