Rock and roll Hall of Fame inductee Johnnie Johnson was a blues, Jazz and rock and roll pianist who's work with Chuck Berry got him the induction for the Sideman category.
Johnnie felt he deserved writing credit on several of Berry's hit songs that only had Chuck listed as songwriter. Johnson filed a law suit against Chuck Berry but the case was eventually dropped due to too much time having passed by since the songs were written.
Robert Johnson thought so much of Johnnie that he would tell people that they were related.
